A Devotion to Princess

As you lay by me I hear you purr. A sound I have come to love, it fills me with joy and happiness because I know you're happy. No matter how bad I'm feeling you manage to cheer me up, and even though you may strike at me in frustration I know you only do it in the heat of the moment. You symbolize forgivness and unending love because no matter how many times I may step on your tail you will still love me. When I think about the day you will go from this earth to the heavens above I feel tearful, and it makes me realize how precious our time together is. So as I sit here I will listen to your beautiful purr, and soak it all up. So Princess, even though you don't know this I will remember and cherish you forever. I love you Princess.
