She's slipping away and doesn't know what to do
Slipping Away

I can feel myself slipping away,
Not knowing what to do,
I don’t want to stay,
I don’t want to hurt you!
I’m losing my self-control,
I’m just about to slip,
Anger and other emotions are taking hold,
And I’m losing my grip!
Crying is all I can do
To be honest with me.
I don’t know how I’ll get through,
Or how I’ll ever be free.
I can’t trust anyone and myself I blame
Because I can’t let anyone else burn from Anger’s flame.
But no one else can know,
So I’ll pretend.
And maybe I’ll believe it too.
No one will see the mess I am
And that I’m silently losing myself
Or know that I’m slipping away.
