Stuffed in a Bucket part II

Beneath a candle's feeble flame,
a woman labors long and lovingly
over a symbol of her brave new country.

Beneath the flapping same,
men face Death
with every breath.

Stripes bold and true,
stars bright and keen
shine that Liberty may be seen.

Pure red, sweet blue,
and the infinite peace of white
send Hope's beacon slicing through tyranny's night.

But America,
the land of liberty
is riddled by the cancerous corporate entity.

So while the crowds may shout 'Hell yeah!',
Burger King says 'Fuck it.'
and stuffs our flag in a bucket.
