Winter Morning

The morning clear, a night's adeu
Holds me gently as I awake
My window shows the morning dew
My blankets surfaced as I make

Crawling out something has appeared
SOmething is gone, your love perhaps
Like snow, emotions dissapear
The day before, did I collapse

The trees, they do blow in the wind
And sometimes birds must fly away
Some point all must come to an end
Sadly love is not there to stay

I have awoke to the worst day
And still the snow will melt away
