night time experience

I am laying here all alone,It is really late at night and some of the noises I hear really give me a fright. The creaking of the floor boards the banging of a door,the howling of the wind the build up to a storm.

A car alarm in the distance, a dog barking at the moon, I hope it goes quiet and I can get to sleep soon. What is that I hear now? It sounds like a very hearty laugh, It is a group of drunks walking down the path.

The drunks fade off in the distance a little while and they will be gone but now I have to listen to some cats sing a merry song, but a shout from the neighbour and they soon run along.

What is that I hear now? It sounds like Bird song, It seems the night that came is very nearly gone! I now begin to hear the drones of the first cars going by and as i look out the window the sun is beginning to light the sky, I roll in to my duvet and just decide to hide.

The sound of my neighbours alarm comes beeping through the wall am i to get no sleep tonight at all,the bird song is getting louder amd my room is getting bright it has now come the point where i can say "I have been awake all night"
