I don't keep a regular journal. I do occasionally though. I don't really know what to put in a journal.

I usually start a story with an action – the character is doing something like arriving home, ordering a meal, or being watched by another person.

I think a blog is more of a professional outlet. I believe because the nature of the blog is so public, you can't really be as free as you would in your own personal journal (which you can always burn if you want to).
