My daddy loves me the best

Go ahead, ask him, he’ll say yes

He loves my little brother too

But I’m his favorite and that is true



My daddy loves me the most

‘Cause I was first, not to boast

My daddy takes me to do lots of stuff

Daddy says brother’s not big enough



You might ask, what makes me think this?

I’ll prove it to you ‘cause I made a list

First, he calls me the best big boy ever

He says I’m his buddy--we’re always together



Second, he loves to play golf with just me

We ride around and play on the tee

He shows me how to hit the ball real far

And doesn’t care if I hit someone’s car



He calls me scooter and his little buddy

We wrestle around and sometimes get muddy

He let me play football and didn’t miss a game

I got a bow and arrow and he taught me how to aim



But today I saw him kiss my brother on the cheek

He gave him a hug and didn’t try to sneak!

I guess it’s okay if he loves him too

My brother’s getting big and maybe we can do

All those things, just us three

My daddy, my little brother, and me.
