A poem about my first crush.
*Flower5* First Kiss *Flower5*

By ***Silver Stars***

If only you could see me now,
Grown up, so tall,
We were only little kids,
It could've never happened at all.

Some never remember this moment,
So fleeting, so brief,
Yet I remember it all,
Your kiss upon my cheek.

I never imagined this moment,
Was so important to a girl,
It just seemed like the right idea,
To kiss you and your world.

Fast forward a year later,
We never truly broke up,
You've met another girl,
I'm just a memory in the rough.

Two more years go by,
You're still the one I like,
You're crushing on a different girl,
And it's killing me inside.

I used to be a tomboy,
I used to hate to dress up,
He always liked pretty girls,
I guess he gave me up.

Eventually I leave my school,
Throwing you and more away,
I was seven when it happened.
And I'm eleven when I stray.

I moved on with my life,
I met some other guys,
So many years wasted,
Dreaming of our future life.

In the end it never happened,
We don't talk anymore,
We abandoned each other for separate lives,
And it worked out in this world.

But if we were to see again,
I would want for you to think,
'Yeah, that girl's kind of pretty,
And I can see that she likes pink.'
