Revenge

Revenge is like a poison
or a double bladed sword.

As you watch your foes go down,
you get poisoned too.

As you take down
more of your enemies,
you become like them.

You think what you
are doing is justified.

You can try to stop
killing them, but by
now it is too late.

You have become a
mockery of what
you once were.

In other people’s eyes,
you are a monster.

By now, you have become
what you were fighting
to destroy – pure evil.
