The past will always be with you
The people, the places, the loves
All shall be there with thee forever

The things you want to forget
The dreams you had with the people in your past
You will never elude them

There is always one thing
There is one that one thing that brings you back
Back to that moment in time

You may wish things would be the same
But it isn’t
People moved on, time has passed

Only one thing holds for certain
The past is inescapable
It always remembers

As I look upon this place
I see it in disgrace
