The power of patience


(I can’t relax nor let things go,
I feel like I’m out of control)

I can’t wait, No Waiting!
The fool has gone too slow,
I travel at light speeds,
I can’t wait to grow.

My eyes, Oh! The sunset!
There’s no time to stay,
And soak up the marvel,
And listen and pray.

My time feels so precious,
I must act, act and act!
Faster please run faster!
Attack! tack, tack!

But what’s all this running,
Without looking back to see?
The progress that you’re making,
All the happiness and glee.

And this requires stopping,
And leaving fears behind,
Then seeing things as truth,
That is opening up your mind.

(So just relax and let things go,
Remember you’re not in control.)
