Today had promised to be a perfect day, I hadn't had many of these in my short existence but they sure didn't include sunshine or good weather.
to me the perfect days were ones in which the sun never came out and the rain that had been scarce during months finally came pouring down on the old rooftops of aching houses. It was midnight or so when the rain began to drizzle on my window and I knew for a fact that it wasn't going to be a perfect day, the wind blew hard that night and as I closed my eyes I couldn't help but feel empty.
