A prologue. Just want to know what people think of the initial idea.
A fair but vain king once ruled the land of Tesloniea. This king appointed four officials; three men and one elf, to rule the land in his place and in doing so set about the coming of his death.                                                    The officials under the power of the wealthy, careless king soon grew jealous and devised a plot to remove him from the throne.  Cruelly they poisoned him and took his place as ruler.
For four years the officials ruled and made Tesloniea a content and proud place. But the officials became envious of one another and quarrels began. They turned on each other and two were killed till one man and the elf remained. Unable to defeat one another they split the land and took their place as leader of each. The people became divided under each ruler and constructed two armies, the evolution and the revolution army. Though the human leader wanted to unite the people the elf had different plans. He sought to find a way that all humans could be destroyed and elves become the dominant specie. He passed laws prohibiting humans, under his control, from mixing with elves and banished them to a life of poverty.
Clarinda is a seventeen-year-old girl living in the outskirts of Arigash. Along with her mother and sister she tries to survive amidst the ongoing battles of the evolution and revolution armies. While her father is away at battle it is her job to protect her sister from the enemy threat.
But now both armies are on the move departing from their main stations on either side of Tesloniea. Tidings of ill suffering drift through the land on the very breeze itself. Two great nations prepare for battle and uncertainty hangs above the land like a dark storm cloud. The fight for power has begun.
Many miles away huddled in the soft blankets of her bed Clarinda lay awake watching the moonlight seep in through the windows. Sleep appeared to have overlooked this one person but Clarinda knew she was restless for a more important reason. Somehow she felt something was wrong, she had felt this way before…
