A pamphlet brought to you by the Woman's Liberation Army! (Satire)
Note: This piece works better if you read it like spoken word poetry. Also, it's satirical, just to warn you.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all?
It might be you, dear Snow White,
With skin as white as snow,
But beauty ain't worth much,
Compared with what you know.
It's not the apple, Dear Snow White,
What sent you down to sleep. 'Twas
The Poison on the shackles of
The company you keep. Only when,
And only then, do you understand,
Will you be free to be a woman.

Come on Rapunzel, you’ve hidden
Far too long up there. Don't you wait
For a blind prince to come and seeming
Care. Use that golden mane of yours,
That made you what you are.
Climb down and chop it off,
You'll change that oppressed star.
Get yourself a brand new life,
A set of sport car wheels.
Swap that dress and pretty song
For a power suit and heels.
A real job in the real world.
Because Love’s a repressive word.

Don’t you see, Sleeping Beauty,
The world’s a woman place.
So be what a woman’s made
You be. Be anything but
What you want to be, unless
What you want to be is what
We want to see. So wake up,
Shake it off, and redefine the world.
Because we said you should.
Don't hide behind a mossy wall,
Trapped within your dreams.
Open your eyes, wake them up
And see what the world means.

Get out of that dress, Cinderella,
Those shoes aren't what you want.
They'll shatter, like your hopes and
Dreams if you enter nonchalant
Into a trap just like the one that you
Hope to here escape. This marriage
To a charming prince is just another
Form of rape. Don't run from enslaved
Housemaid to pregnant in the fall.
This man--like all men--ain't nothing
Like at the ball. Run, run while you can
Before the witching hour, Lest you lose,
Dear Cinderella, all your real woman power.

The Woman’s Liberation Army,
Declares Martial Law over women's
Souls. Here’s your role, which we won
For you, so take it or be gone.
We’ll have that dress, we’ll store
Those dreams, until they’re warped
And then there’s none.
For a woman’s only
Woman when the Woman
Is undone.
