Where do you stand with GOD

When GOD created man, he gave man dominion over all the earth

Legal authority over all the earth and everything that creeps on the face of it

GOD made man to be a stewart over his creation, just like GOD ran heaven he wanted man to run the earth(Genesis ch. 1-2)

This happened until Genesis ch. 3 came, until EVE was decieved, and ADAM disobeyed

Ever since then man was corrupted by desires and ways that weren't from GOD, man in this state fell short of the Glory of GOD

Man fell from the dominion and authority that GOD originally gave man

Death entered into humanity by sin.........for GOD have said " for in the day that you(Adam and EVE) eat thereof (the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ) you shall surely die."

This is why there is so much suffering in this world, because the wages of sin equals death

Death invaded humanity; sickness, poverty, murders, hate, envy jealousy, all these things flooded the hearts of men, and every generation was getting weaker and weaker by it

To some, this sounds like a fairytale...........but is it?

Look around you now, you know of someone that is sick, someone that is hurting, someone that is confused, someone that is suicidal...........does this sound like a fairy tale now?

See when man fell, man fell from the standard of GOD. What is his standard? His word, his way of living, his ways

There is so much I could say, so many scriptures I could use to get into depth with this, but this need to stay simple and clear

Man is in need of a savior, someone to redeem from sin, from death, to life

Thats where Jesus Christ comes in

He's not a fairytale.........He is the truth

He's not some escape out of reality........He is reality

He came for this reason, "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life"(John 3:16)

Jesus said this......."I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."(John 14:6)

See man fell from the standard of GOD, from the will of GOD, and needed to be reconciled back to GOD

This is about GOD and you

Without Jesus there is no way to GOD because Jesus offered up his life so that we may have life

Why did Jesus die on a cross? Why was he taking our punishment?

He took upon himself our sins........all of our sins, he took upon himself the wrath of GOD that we deserved

He did this so that man could be reconciled back to GOD..........so you can have a relationship with the one that created you in the first place

This is just an overview.........I know that this need to be explained in way more depth than this

This is not about some religion, this is about you and GOD

This is not about trying to be a good person, this is about you and GOD

So the real question is this................where do you stand with GOD?

How do you gauge this, by the bible and the Holy Spirit
