Amazing Guy

So I met this guy on a Monday night,

Do I like him? Well I might.

He smiled at me, I smiled back,

He's got dimples in his cheeks!

Oh I really like that.



No words said for a week maybe two,

we add each other online, "Oh no now what to do!"

We both like the military I can talk about that

but if I do what if he thinks I'm whacked?



I gave him my number, said "Any questions...do call"

he gives me his in return, I look at the clock on the wall.

almost eleven and probably too late tonight,

I'll call him tomorrow, "Okay thanks, good night"



After a couple days of talking over the phone,

There's a super bowl party in his youth pastors home,

I'm invited to go, My parents don't say no.

I'm thrilled and can't wait even though,

it's not a date... I don't hesitate.



We go and I meet his fam

His youngest sister shows me "kitty cat land"

the dog comes over to investigate

"time to go pick up the others, or we're going to be late"



We go and have a really good time

one of these days this guy is gonna be mine

He's a hottie and has really nice style,

but he's also respectful to me,

I believe I'm going to be with him for a very long while.
