An old poem I dug up... Enjoy |
~Prince of Starlight~ Ah, dark Prince of Shadows, You beckon for a queen, Yet, nothing know you of love and trust, Nor perceive you what they mean. You say you ask for loyalty fair, Of devotion tried and true, Yet, you will find, they won't be found, If they are lacking with in you. You demand a heart bound to you, Unwavering. Tied and chained. Yet, unless you heart is bound too, The other's true heart be only feigned. Fair, fair Prince of Darkness, You search for a queen of light, Yet, try you break her with your hand, And curse'd be you to forever night. Sad, lonely Prince of Twilight, You cry for love's caress, Yet, love shall never find you, Lest your love first confess. With your question, Prince of Sunset. In my mortal ears, truth doeth ring, Yet, till the love in your heart is found, You shant find a Queen for a King. |
