There's many things you've taught me,
about how I should live my life,
and all the mistakes you've made,
Will insure that I do things right.

I'm never going to end up like you,
because I know I don't need a man to make me happy.
I'm alright with being alone,
as long as I'm free from what you've become.

I don't need any memories,
for pain will hold me back.
It's stupid to let yourself fall in love,
