As the fist hits his face the mother shunned to the side closes her eyes to avoid the site of her son’s blood hit the ground. 
Which is soon followed by him self.
As the crowds depart some rejoice and some throw their tickets to the ground but the mother merely stands to view what she has been shunned for.
After taking in the stench of booze and blood she turns and walks out the doors.
Sad and disappointed for she has been shunned for something so barbaric and filthy.
Boxing glove to chin,
Broken chin to ground,
Mother’s heart ripped in two,
But as the mother walks away leaving her son on the ground the words that escape his mouth.
With his last breath are enough to stop her in her tracks
“I’m sorry”
The words of defeat.
For he was a defeated man.
