Sometimes, all you have is hope,

A thin string of ‘maybe’,

Maybe tomorrow will work out fine

And your troubles will melt away.

Sometimes, you just have to trudge along

And hold on, even if it hurts,

Because you’ll never know what you missed

If you don’t even try.



Sometimes, you’re closer than you think

And stronger than you know

And that small, extra bit that you put in

Takes you farther than you believe.

Sometimes, you think you’re alone;

You’re torn, but you cannot share.

But you’ll never be alone, in your heart

We’re always there to guide you.



And sometimes, you cannot predict.

You cannot foretell, nor plan,

Only do your job, and hope for the best

And let destiny have its way.

And if you must let go, then do

And smile, because you tried!

Never regret, because what you’ll get
