Dreams

Reaching up towards the sky,
I spread my wings and prepare to fly,
To break away from the chains that enslave you,
Can open your eyes to a new point of view.

Anyone can dare to dream,
Or open their mouth in frustration to scream,
I never listen to what they say,
My dream is to live day by day.

I love the life that i've been given,
I simply hate the world i live in.
A place full of such corruption,
Spiraling swiftly into destruction,
My dream is to fly above,
Show the world the truth through love.

I know if i can make just one person see,
Heaven will open its pearly gates for me,
That is why my words have power,
To bring light into Earth's darkest hour,
In this place I come to thee,
And dream of the day you will fly with me.
