Young Soldier

Her hair was like silk,
Her eyes yellow and gold,
The world didn't know who she was,
What she was,
Why she was,
Her mind was pure,
Innocent,
But pro-found,
She was a brave soul,
That one,
Traveling in the wildest of storms,
Yet know one could see her heart,
Nobody wanted to,
She found she had to search for the answers,
Many found it on their way,
But she,
Did not,
The wind knocked her into an endless storm,
One she had to face alone,
Many thought they made a difference,
But yet can not read the mind,
Of a young soldier,
The heart of a soldier,
Doing things for others,
But no return,
Many wanted to know this young hero,
She knew they would fall through the cracks,
They tryed to get to know her,
But none could face her misery,
She warned them of her mission,
She warned them of her past,
Though they burned to the ground,
She tryed to get them back up,
Succeeded,
And went on her way,
None remembered her,
Nor any thanked her,
Doing things selflessly,
No praise,
Or even a solid salute,
Many had children,
Many wouldn't give them up,
Some did,
Her eyes seen the terror,
Her eyes seen the dead,
The darkest hour,
Although being abandend herself,
Once,
She still had a mission,
To fight for what is right,
A young soldier with an openheart,
She sometimes got scared,
Sometimes she got angry,
Confused,
Afraid,
That didn't stop her,
Not once,
Travelling in an endless road,
Stopping to greet those that had no interest,
She would think to herself,
Why do I care?,
But she knew in the end,
God held her up,
And this soldier,
Of silky hair,
And golden eyes,
Believes in all sorts of life,
Now you are faced with a question,
