I'm told I am too 'wordy'
Verbosity 'in extremis',
Forgive me if I try too hard,
But clarity is the premise.

Four syllables in every word,
Two bulging eyes,
In those that heard,
It seems that no one knows at all,
The person they have known since school.

So talk of football,
Crack a joke,
Swallow hard,
Try not to choke,
And wait for one to come along,
Who likes the Dodo and its song.
