Water

My towel drops off to the side
All of my jewelry is off
My hair is free and messy
My body longing for the water

I check the temperature
Just a little cold
So I put my feet on the first step
Sitting there till my feet warm up

Once I have dealt with the cold
I go in deeper
Farther in
Enduring all i can
Till finally I get the courage
To let it all go
And go in full deep

When I am under
Everything just stops
My head is cleared
My mind is frozen
I have found my way back

I have endured all the pain and unhappiness
To get to this one point
But when its time for me to get air
I resurface to reality
But still I stay neck deep

Ready for the one moment
Where I can lose myself
To the water
