Discovery

Sitting on the roadside bench
I was numb and still
Contemplating the eternity.

The expansive Kanchenjunga
A kaleidoscope of colors
Caught me unawares
In a rather pensive mood.

The sun climbed on the horizon
So did the zealous mist
Startled by the nomadic thoughts
Materializing pine trees in the wood.

The fragrance of the jungle
Wafted along in the afternoon
Caressing the transfixed mind
Out of the palpable gloom.

The shackles snapped
In the realm of myself
The realization had come strong
For a man like it should.

I stretched to break the moment
Discovering my vibrant form
Unique in the world of plurality.
