Lesson 4 Part 1

1.          Bobbi and Doug climbed onto the top of the rough and weathered granite peak. TOUCH

2.          The bright light of sunset, blinding them momentarily, as they took in the valleys and lesser peaks below them  SIGHT

3.                  The whistling wind blew clean, and carried the forest fragrance with it causing Bobbi’s brown hair to whip harshly against her already tender reddened cheeks. SOUND, SMELL, TOUCH, and SIGHT

4.          Doug reached for Bobbi; Drinking in her beauty, as he pulled her gently against him, softly stroking her silken hair away from her green eyes. TOUCH and SIGHT

5.           Exhausted and breathing deeply, the acrid, chalky, dust from their clothes, that was now a fine powdery cloud, only worsened their parched throats.  TASTE, SOUND, and SMELL


6.          The Doug’s chalk bag had accidentally opened covering Bobbi's head and clothes, with fine grit on the climb up, making breathing and focusing, difficult for a time. TOUCH SIGHT TASTE and SMELL


7.          Their cold metal water bottles, reflecting sunlight, held precious little of the clear fresh liquid . TOUCH, SIGHT and TASTE

8.          Dry and parched, they wished they had refilled their bottles back at the piny mountain spring. TOUCH, TASTE, and SMELL

9.          As spectacular as the red and gold sunset was, at eleven thousand feet there was little chance of finding water. SIGHT

10.          The shower of sliding gravel startled them, as a big horn sheep walked along the ridgeline above them. SIGHT and SOUND

11.          Bobbi instinctively gasped, and drew Doug closer  as he watched the falling dirt and stones shower them. SOUND, TOUCH and SIGHT

12.          Holding on to one anothers' sand covered jackets, they laughed as they took in each other’s appearance.  TOUCH, SOUND and SIGHT

13.           Their eyes locked and in that moment, they knew what neither had been able to say. SIGHT

14.          Their lips brushed, their warm breathe mingling as one; sweet and moist. TOUCH and TASTE and SMELL

15.           An eagle cried in the distance, as the two friends now for the first time held as lovers. SOUND and TOUCH

16.          Hugging, they gazed off from that peak, but the two saw only their future together. TOUCH and SIGHT
