I am a compass pointing your direction.
I am an airplane on your ground I land.

When I am angry, you calm my thunder.
When my tears fall, you clear my sky.
When I have laughter, you're acting goofy.
When I need a purpose, you open my eyes.

My heart writes a poem composed to your rhythm.
My soul hears the music while you sing the song.
My hands feel the body your willingly giving.
My spirit knows you are where I belong.

If I could capture this moment, I'd live it forever.
If I changed yesterday, you'd have been there then too.
I know my past is what lead me to be here.
