For all the times you washed my face,
when chocolate hit my brow.
For all the times you set my pace,
for answering all the questions "how?"

For the many times you held me tight,
for all the kisses too.
For all the times you stayed up with me all night,
for all the "I love You's"

For all the times you tucked me in,
for all the bathes you gave.
The times you helped my pick up my chin,
to stand tall for my age and brave.

For all the stories you've read to me,
the mistake you kindly overlooked.
For encouraging creativity,
and all the days I overbooked.

For putting out my clothes to wear,
fot all the things you do.
Thanks Mom for being there.
