There's a Snake in the Bathroom

“There’s a snake in the bathroom!”
My dear grandma cried.
“What’s that?” shouted Grandpa,
“Did somebody die?”

“There’s a snake!” shrieked my grandma;
She jumped and she shook.
“I scared it!
It leapt into that closet nook!”

Grandpa got his snake stick;
With a jab and a poke,
He snared that poor snake.
It was all okey-doke.

“Thank you, dear Grandpa,”
Grandma blushed like a rose.
“Now that the snake’s gone,
I’ll put on my clothes!”
