SLOW DOW!
You were thinking a million things before now.
You’re mind racing with hundreds of questions...
racing…
racing: driving faster than any average speed limit. Moving quickly, hastily.

People are constantly in the fast lane (or they always want to be)
Never thinking to slow down, never knowing what they’re missing.
There’s a sense of urgency it seems (and where it originated eludes me)

wake up, brush teeth, get dressed, grab your things, get in car, text at the wheel, speed up, I’m going to be late.
Arrive, get to work, hurry though the papers, I’ve always got more…
leave, get in car, answer phone, take a smoke, speed up, get home, time for bed.

This is the average life, life in the fast lane.
Breakfast was skipped.
All of a sudden getting to your destination became more important than your life
lunch was missed
and when you got home you were too tired to show a loved one any affection

SLOW DOWN

That’s on the outside...what about your thoughts
racing trying to beat time because
apparently there just isn’t enough of it….or it’s taking too long

but that is because you make it so.

18 to smoke, tattoo, or pierce…14,15,16 and up have it done
21 to drink…but 14 and younger getting drunk
16 to drive…but 13 and up dying in cars
a teen to date….kids too young contracting STD’s

SLOW DOWN!

Kids want to grow up far too facts
Adults aren’t living, loving, experiencing life

Is the world moving just too fast
or are you trying too hard to keep up

the time no matter how old you are, to enjoy your life to the fullest.

You were gifted. Only one

no matter how fast you go…
where you are looking to get to isn’t going to be any farther

it’ll still be there
