Illusive Dream

I awake from sleep in the night.
To find you've gone out of sight.
I wonder where you have gone.
You left me in our bed all alone.

I worried if you left on your own.
Whether you taken from home.
Why did you leave tell me why?
I guess I will lay in bed and cry.

Tell me why did you run away?
If I was awake I'd made you stay.
I'd never force you do anything.
I love you and you're my dream.

I lay here memories come alive.
You wasn't in my bed last night.
A dream has deceived my mind.
I was here alone for a long time.

Illusive dreams you can't hold on.
They're here, then they are gone.
Someday I'll grab these dreams.
Hold them tight forever it seems.
