Pleasure and fear mix to a happy pain,
And a heart never felt before beats,
Such lets me know I live, so over again
I dwell on you, allowing these repeats
Of thoughts, words, deeds that stir and scare me.
Melodramatic true, but that is youth,
And it consoles that my unique folly
Is seen through history. Poetry's proof.
Though I feel the world hanging by a thread,
That reality ends once this is read.
