Tears shattered by life and love. |
A shattered Rose, Or Broken Glass Stained with my love one's ash Death on loved once shared, For all who watched, But no one cared. Tears created the puddle below me feet, Other Puddles run to mine, and create a sea. Standing back, now we see, Hatred's misery The waves Wash slowly over our feet Slowly rising to our knees We see the heads in front of us, slowly go down, The waves rise closer to our crowns. Before The last wave can take my place, To my loved one, I must say. Where are you, And how is your day, can you hear the echo of my scream astray? 1 million voices all call names, but my scream is the loudest, for only I can proclaim. I love you for who you are, despite the flood, Never did I desire more the flesh, never more did I wish for sex. But never more , did I Respect, and held us back. I Still wait for marriage to tie the bond, But some reason, you are long gone. And the Last Wave, Comes my way, to sink my head. I scream your name, I close my eyes, Soon I pray, You will arrive. Until the day My tears will Shatter in the blue, That rest above my head, until I find you. |
