would you wish for world peace

would you change the way everyone sees and thinks

would it be your goal to save those who are dying

and if just if you could wish upon a star

would you try to stop the crying

if you could wish upon a star

would you wish for less drama

would you hope and dream

for a president like obama

would you feel entitled to a life without problems

or would you want to write a story all about your problems

think about it if you could wish upon a star

would you give yourself fame or a fancy new car

would you want everything or anything and all you could have

would you go back in time to see exactly what was said

what you couldnt remember and who really was dead

to be with someone you cant be with anymore

because they got to tired and stopped coming through the door

would you wish for no pain well too bad suck it up

because no pain no gain so answer me this

if only if you could do like i can dream and wish

would you take the chance lying there or pass it to someone else

if you had one wish would you be thinking about yourself

well i had one wish and it came true

thats why im able to stand up, walk around and sing too

i wished for life and thats what i got

so keep dreaming keep wishing because history is wrong
