Meaningless Words

I spin in circles and breathe in deep,
I'm alright now, but soon I'll sink.
Searching for words that just might save me,
looking for the answer hidden underneath.
Beneath the promises that were made to be broken,
and meaningless words that should have gone unspoken.
Forever means nothing because it will never come,
my soul is unraveled, my heart is undone.
what scares me the most is that you are my world,
but that may mean nothing coming from this small girl.
