A newbie-
You took me in under your wing
Stood quiet in the background
And allowed me to sing
Never expecting back-
Even one small thing
In return for your friendship
and superb mentoring.

This poem may be lame
It might not flow
the meter is off
My rating will blow
I don't really care-
As long as this shows
how very special you are
and that everyone knows--

You are fantastical,
A quite heavenly find!
I so am very lucky
to call you "friend of mine"
