Inspiring and motivational quotes for everyone |
Words of inspiration can come from a variety of sources and can lift your spirits when you need it most. My company shares a ‘quote of the day’ on our Intranet site everyday for employees to read and enjoy. I always start my day by reading this quote and am often surprised that I get an inspiring message just when I need it most and it always gives me a much needed boost to start the day in a positive direction. There are inspirational quotes on just about every subject under the sun, whether you are suffering the loss of a loved one; needing courage to face a particularly difficult challenge; or issues you may be facing at work; but the point is there is an inspirational quote that can speak to your heart in any situation. The challenge for us all is to open our hearts and minds to these inspirations. As you read over these quotes you will recognize some, but read them again with an open heart and mind, because the difference it can make in your life can only be positive. These quotes remind me to have faith in God and remember that He has a plan for my life; to have faith in myself and my abilities that God has given me; faith in my family and friends and remember that they are a great source of support for me. I have always believed that you can make your own destiny, you are presented with choices to make each day, and you yourself make these choices that have lasting effects on your life. We are given the opportunity everyday to start over or begin making positive changes in our lives, we have the power to change our situation; and should always remember each day if a gift and we should make the most of it. It may be as simple as saying to yourself “I choose to have a great day today”. This is what I tell myself every morning on my way to work; and at the end of those not-so-great days, I tell myself that tomorrow is another chance! These inspiring quotes sometimes give me the courage to try something that I had not tried before because I was afraid of failing.
