With chain in hand
he makes a stand
to battle for his domain.
Will he win? His
chances are thin,
can he suffer thru the pain?

Greatly outnumbered,
his foes encumber
to cut off any retreat.
Now he fears that
his death is near,
will he fall to defeat?

The battle starts
with a timid heart,
men falling all around him.
He stands alone
to reap the sown,
his strength growing slim.

Dark sets in,
Will he win?
Blows upon him landing.
He fights all night
and at the break of light,
he is the last one standing.
