A poem about petals being thrown from a balcony - what do they represent?
PETALS FROM A BALCONY

A cloud of scarlet and crimson petals
Spill down from above,
Pirouetting  delicately
As they clasp the breeze
In a silent, fluttering waltz.
Drips of colour stain sherbet white snow,
Blossoming chaotically
As the legion of scandal - red petals
Pour relentlessly down.
Flowers for the living.
