This is a dear john letter
to all the people out there
the ones who cry and let it be heard.

I could tell you it will get easier soon,
but that would be a lie.
It takes time to mend a broken heart.

So ask yourself when you get out of bed,
will i let this ruin my day?
Will i let this stand in my way?

Never should we let it get us down.
Never should we give in.

Let's hold our heads up high,
and thank our friends for being there.
Let them show that they care.
