The painter sleeps quiet and still

Thousands of pigments filling his dreams

They move together and rearange like a puzzle

He wakes up and gets to work

Recreating the vision of his imagination

A simple combination of dyes on canvas

Bringing millions of minds to a halt

To stop and think

To bring out emotions

The man from a small town

Grew up modestly with a bed and bath

An average man who wanted to be remembered

Spent hours more in the classroom

Spent hours formulating theories

Went from average man to extrodinary man

Became a master at his craft

He took the ones stamped with an expiration date

And instilled in them hope to stay

He found a random mix to create a fix

To unite the heart and mind



The poet sits at the table

Pouring his heart and soul through the spout of his pen

He drifts off to a peaceful place

Millions of words at his fingertips

To create the perfect combination

To unlock the safe
