Leaving Both Worlds

Placing the hood over the face,
A shadow in the crowd,
She walks the realms of time,

Waltz through dimensions,
Searching for her beloved,
The girl could only wait,

Fires from Hades
Only wanting to run,
She finds him bloodied,

Dying in his lover's arms,
His last words only a whisper,
Death takes him like the rest,

Crying for her love,
Crackles of anger erupt,
Realms collapsing on top,

Screaming awake in bed,
The girl finds herself at home,
No more realms, no more dreams,

Getting up to brush her hair,
Watching the mirror as she combed it,
Seeing his reflection instead of hers,

Dropping the brush,
Taking a few steps back,
The mirror shatters, and so does the heart.
