A Warrior Born

There is something to be said about a warrior born,
struggling, striving beyond the norm,
going all night
until the break of dawn,
facing what they face and
moving on,
taking no prisoners, leaving no names,
serious business, zero games,
a true soldier through and through,
turning the bold into the beautiful;

A warrior born is what i was meant to be,
never say die was the epitaph for me,
so when i went into a combat zone
i didn't fear or fret because i wasn't
alone,
the warrior's spirit was there with me,
so i stood my ground
for the world to see.
