Devoting Allegiance

I am completely and wholly Yours.
    Nothing will lead me astray from following You.
Neither fire and storms as rain downpours,
    Nor the path of death or all that Satan might do.

My life is devoted to You, Lord -
    Everything I do and all that I dare to say.
If against my neck there was a sword,
    Still I would proclaim You as my Harbor and Bay.

Whatever marks me as being me,
    I give it all and my vain ambitions to You.
Through this that the men of Earth might see,
    I am always Yours and to You will I be true.

Make my life so outrageously Yours,
    That men of this world will stand and in wonder stare.
May they see that all Your mercy pours,
    And covers those who are righteous, holy, and fair.

Create in me a loving spirit.
    Please create in me a living testimony.
A soul who lifts fallen out of sin's pit,
    A testimony to make the sinful men see.

I am completely and wholly Yours.
    Nothing will lead me astray from following You.
Neither ancient fables and folklores,
    Nor the torture that evil men might try to do.

Set all my life ablaze with Your holy fire,
In doing so, lifting others out of sin's mire.
