this is based on a scene that i used to imagine since i was a child
at the beach
with the bench
half immersed
in water
waves come
and wash our feet
the cold wave
passes through the body
but the warmth of love
surpasses it.

our bodies are connected
a bond formed
sun about to go down
silence prevails
while your head
rests on my shoulder
i look at the sun
and wish it to stay
as it is, still,
so that this moment
goes on forever
