the story of a girl who wants to get revenge on her 1st ex-boyfriend. |
I was waiting for him. Mark told me to stay at the park until he comes. Our meeting time was supposed to be 9 am, and I even came 10 minutes early. After 2 hours of sitting and thinking to myself on the park bench. I finally got to hear his voice. "Lychee, I'm calling, calling, calling, please pick up the phone.." the voice was Mark's, but it was not him. It was just my phone, and Mark is the one calling me. I answered. "Chee. I am so sorry. But I can't come to our monthsary date. Something came up," "what came up?" "Ah.. Umm.. Look, don't worry, I'll just make up to you. Okay? Bye." "Bye." After that, my first boyfriend never picked up his phone, nor replied to my texts. I was getting worried. I went to his house. The maid said that he left earlier this morning. What a relief! I thought he was sick or something. With nothing to do that day, I went to my bestfriend's house. Sarah lives alone in an apartment about 4 blocks away from Mark's house. I rung the doorbell. Nothing. "Maybe she's taking a shower," I said to myself as I reached under eaves for the keys. Sarah told me where she hides her keys, because sometimes I do errands for her. I went inside. Hmm, it was unusually quiet. Maybe she IS taking a shower. I went to her room upstairs. The door was open, and I invited myself in. The bathroom door was locked and I could hear water from the inside. Huh. I was right. I'll just wait for her here, then I'll surprise her. I sat on the edge of the bed. "shocks!" I mumbled when I felt that I just sat on something. I stood up to find out what it was. I froze. It was Mark's cellphone. I'd recognize it anywhere. It even has the cellphone strap I gave him for his birthday. But, what was Mark's cellphone doing here in Sarah's house, more importantly, her room? --pls. watch out for part 2-- |
