I wrote it to my father when I was really mad at him.
WHY CAN’T YOU JUST STOP

WHEN I TELL YOU TO?

WHY CAN’T YOU JUST LISTEN

WHEN I SAY LET ME THROUGH?

WHY CAN’T YOU JUST FINISH

WHAT YOU CAME HERE TO DO?

AND NOW I ASK YOU,

IS THAT REALLY SO HARD TO DO?

WHY DO YOU KEEP GOING

WHEN I SAID NOT TO?

WHY DO YOU KEEP TALKING

WHEN I COME AND ARGUE?

WHY DO YOU KEEP JOKING

IF YOU KNOW THATS NOT

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO?

AND NOW I’M ASKING YOU,

DO I LOOK LIKE A FOOL TO YOU?

SO WHAT IS IT THAT I SHOULD DO?

DO YOU REALLY WANT ME

TO HATE YOU THE WAY YOU DO?

DO YOU REALLY WANT ME TO

BOTHER AND THEN LAUGH AT YOU?

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO EXPECT

THAT I’LL GROW LIKE YOU?

AND NOW IM JUST TELLING YOU,

DON’T BE SUCH A FOOL.
