Just Ridiculous

I can not take much more of this.
How can they keep asking me these things?
"Can you help your brother?"
I swer his heart sings.

"Well do you want him to fail?"
Really I would not care.
He can be lazy all he wants to be.
All he does is stare.

It's just ridiculous.
Doing his work does not ensure he will pass.
He has to learn it on his own
And that invloves paying attention in class.

How can I help out someone...
Who doesn't want to help out their own self??
I have enough on my plate.
I'm not his elf.

I'm not going to do his work
And others need to stop.
I won't say any names though...
But theirs is at the top.

I don't need that burden.
I don't want it.
If others do....
Then so be it...
