Smiles that are shown in every learning stage
Tears that fall when each child turns a new page

Patience to except the mistakes along the way
Comfort in knowing all three are okay
Pride in everything her children accomplish
Happiness for all three is her one true wish

Jealousy in girls who will try to steal her son's love
Acceptance to know that each one needs to be let go of
Worry for their lives when they are on their own
Joy to hear their voice on the other side of the phone

Hope that their lives will all be successful
Caring that is there when life gets stressful
Courage for putting up with us now and then
Trust that she has turned us into three perfect men

Nervousness is not needed for the previous line
Relief is needed because we all turned out fine
All of these emotions and feelings have made us perfect from the start
Because we received the greatest gift, a mother's heart
