8 year old going out with a 13 year old
Danny grinned happily as he saw Asha walk into the lunchroom. He grabbed his balloon flower and skipped to where she was standing.
Danny was in third grade, which he considered mighty impressive. Danny thought it was high time to get a girlfriend, and Asha, seventh grade, seemed just right.
Asha was chatting with her friend, Morgan, when Danny asked breatlessly "Hi Asha! Will you go on a date with me? I got a ballon flower for you! Please say yes. I spent a quarter on it!"
Asha smiled radiantly while Morgan suppressed giggles. "That's a great idea, Danny-Wanny!"
Danny hugged Asha and ran off to play.

Danny and Asha were eating ice-cream in his backyard. They were silent. Danny was happy just looking at Asha. Asha was regreting the years she had spent baby-sitting Danny.
Danny clapped his hand. "This is so awesome! Captain Underpants in my book doesn't have a boyfriend!"
Asha smiled uncomfortably, and slapped her ankle. The mosquitos were out, even though it wasn't even sunset.
Danny yanked at Asha's arm, trying to get her up. "Come on! Let's go!"
Danny led Asha through the neighborhood, with two heart shaped dollor balloons, as the sun began to set. After half an hour, Danny proudly announced it was bed time.

Asha spent the next hour tucking in the little boy, and by the time it was done she was ready to smak Danny. It didn't matter how sweetly the little demon had kissed her cheek.
As Asha rode her bike to her boyfriend's house, she vowed to listen to Morgan more often.
